INVITATION

The Ceramics Society of Japan (CerSJ) and its glass division proudly announce the GLASS MEETING 2020 to be held in Tokyo, Japan from 7 to 9, December, 2020.
GLASS MEETING 2020 is the international joint meeting on glass and related materials composed of

The 61th Conference on Glass and Photonic Materials, International,
The 12th International Conference on Advances in Fusion and Processing of Glass (AFPG 2020),
The 16th Symposium of Glass Industry Conference of Japan (GIC), and
The 2nd Workshop on Nuclear Waste Glasses and Related Materials, International.

The manufacture and research of Japanese glass industry and academia play world-wide and important roles in glass science and technology. Glass division of CerSJ is the central position for researchers and engineers in Japan to meet and exchange scientific and technological knowledge by providing the conference and workshop every year, and the conference on Glass and photonics Materials counts 61 years in 2020. We held ICG annual meeting 2018 in Yokohama 2018.
Fortunately, we have an opportunity to hold the International Conference on Advances in Fusion and Processing of Glass after 2017 in USA, Glass division of CerSJ decided to organize GLASS MEETING 2020 with Glass Industry Conference of Japan (GIC), and Nuclear Waste Materials subdivision.
All scientific programs in GLASS MEETING 2020 will be organized by the glass division of the CerSJ and collaborates with the Glass Industry Conference (GIC) which comprises five glass industry associations and a corporate aggregate. Meeting welcomes 6 keynote speakers from abroad and will give their special talk on their recent research with invited speakers. Meeting will be held in the parallel session, and the poster session is also included.

    Tokyo Institute of Technology is the top national university for science and technology in Japan established in 1881, and located in heart of Tokyo. Meeting is held in Ookayama campus and the access from the international airports, Haneda and/or Narita, and from the rail station of Ookayama is very easy and convenient. Many hotels and accommodations will be found easily within 1h travel to the campus.
