We are pleased to invite you to join the 10th International Conference on Ceramic Processing Science, ICCPS-10. The conference is scheduled on 25-28 May 2008.

The purpose of the conference is to bring together scientists, engineers, research staff, and students from universities, research institutes and related industrial companies, in the field of ceramic-based materials. The activities at the conference will be enhanced with plenary and invited lectures given by internationally distinguished scientists, oral and poster presentations, covering a broad range of fundamental and applied topics, such as colloid and surface chemistry, powder synthesis, precursor-derived systems, sol-gel processing, forming and sintering. A number of studies are still demanded to elucidate the scientific bases of conventional fabricating processes as well as the emerging areas of nanotechnology and its associated challenges, nanoparticle synthesis, micro-patterning, inorganic-organic hybridization, rapid sintering, and densification of systems of complex shape and multimaterial combinations. The conference also focuses on application and advances of ceramic processing science to extremely fine scale multilayer ceramic components, transparent ceramics, electronic ceramics, materials for fuel cells and secondary batteries, thin films, bioceramics and structural ceramics.
