Conference Proceedings

The conference papers are published as proceedings (Archives of BioCeramics Research Vol. 9) and distributed to attendees of the symposium. Authors must submit their paper electronically according to the following Instruction.
Instruction for Paper Preparation
1. All paper must be submitted in English.
2. Papers should include: Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, and References.
3. Paper should be four pages for general speakers, and six pages (at maximum) for invited speakers.

Instruction for Paper Submission
1. Completed paper manuscripts must be received no later than October 19, 2009 (Extended). After this deadline, publication is not guaranteed.
2. Electronic files (both doc word and pdf format) should be submitted by e-mailing to Masakazu Kawashita (m-kawa(atmark)ecei.tohoku.ac.jp).
3. Each file size must be less than 2 MB.
4. The title of your file must contain the serial number of your abstract and the presenting author's name, e.g. "o1_Kawashita.doc". The serial number will be informed by the Committee along with notification of acceptance.
Full Paper for J. Ceram. Soc. Japan
The presenters of the symposium can also submit the contents as a full paper to special issue of Journal of the Ceramic Sociery of Japan, entitled "Recent Progress in Bioceramics Research", after brushing up and including additional data (Note that similar level to the proceedings is not acceptable).
Submission can be now available in the above Journal Website (Deadline: February 10, 2010). This special issue itself is isolated plan from ABC2009. So manuscripts on the topics not presented in the symposium are also acceptable.
The submitted papers are peer-reviewed similar to regular issues, and the accepted papers will be published in June, 2010. Submission fee will be supported to several excellent papers presented in the symposium.
