GS-D3-04 Effect of high-repetition rate femtosecond laser pulses exposure on ternary tellurite glass
The Ceramics Society of Japan (CerSJ) and its glass division proudly announce the GLASS MEETING 2020, On-line, to be held in Tokyo, Japan from 7 to 10, and 16-18, December, 2020.
GLASS MEETING 2020 is the international joint meeting on glass and related materials composed of
The 61th Conference on Glass and Photonic Materials, International,
The 12th International Conference on Advances in Fusion and Processing of Glass (AFPG 2020),
The 16th Symposium of Glass Industry Conference of Japan (GIC), and
The 2nd Workshop on Nuclear Waste Glasses and Related Materials, International.
Student and Young Researcher Forum on Glass Research
Due to the inconvenience by COVID-19 epidemic spreading, CerSJ and Glass Division decided to change the organization of GLASS MEETING 2020 to a new style using ON-LINE. This helps us to join the international conference worldwide, and interact each other. In Schedule page, Tentative but challenging frame and time table is shown, in which attendees will be able to present their works all over the world, and also hear and give questions and comments via web tool in daytime of your living area.
Through web tool, poster presentation is still difficult to communicate freely. In order to give opportunities to students and young researchers, GLASS MEETING 2020 holds the forum for them to present their research.
According to this new style, the organizing committee changes the schedule (IMPORTANT DATES) as showing this page. You will have enough time to consider and prepare the attendance to GLASS MEETING 2020 until the end of October.
We will have another period of term, 16-18th December. This is for the random access to any of the presentations given in GLASS MEETING 2020 during 7-10th, December, with the answers to the given questions and comments.
The organizing committee wishes you to have fruitful period of time at the end of this year to exchange new knowledge and findings on glass by joining GLASS MEETING 2020.
Chair of GLASS MEETING 2020
Tetsuji YANO
The GLASS MEETING 2020 Commitee established the Young Researcher Presentation Award in order to encourage the research of young researcher project which will lead the next generation of glass science and technology.
All young presenters including master, Ph.D students, and postodoctoral researcher were nominated for the award. After careful and strict consideration, the GLASS MEETING 2020 Committee conferred 12 awards for the outstanding oral presentations.
