Oral PresentationsDownload the file

Time Allocation for Presentation

Principally time allocated for oral presentations is 15 min for a contributed presentation and 30 min for invited lectures. Please count 1 min for preparation before starting within each presentation time. Also, please include 2-3 min Q&A for contributed oral presentations, and 5 min for invited lectures. For your presentation schedule and time allotted, please check the program on the website below:

Equipment for presentation

Oral presentation rooms will be equipped with the following items:
-1 laptop PC (Windows XP, Microsoft PowerPoint2010, Adobe Acrobat)
-1 LCD video projector
-1 screen
-1 laser pointer (You are encouraged to bring your own)

 

You are requested to bring data of your presentation on a CD-ROM or a USB memory stick. Alternatively, you can also use your own PC. If you use Macintosh or your presentation data with animation, please bring your own PC.

When you prepare a PowerPoint file for your presentation, please be sure that all graphic files are properly embedded.

Prepared projectors have a D-sub 15pins connector as a video interface. If you are a Macintosh user, please bring a necessary adaptor.

During the presentation, please be sure that your PC is connected to a power source to avoid battery accidents. Electric currency is uniformly 100 volts AC throughout Japan, but with two different cycles: 50Hz in eastern Japan, and 60Hz in western Japan including Osaka. Electric outlet sockets accept a two-leg plug.

Poster PresentationsDownload the file

Poster Board Layout    Updated!

Poster session will be held from 12:00 to 14:00, on both Monday, Nov. 15 and Tuesday, Nov. 16, at Event Hall on the 3rd floor, Osaka International Convention Center. Each poster presentation is allotted one poster board (as shown below). Your poster number will be indicated in the Program Book and on the board on-site. The width of the poster board (90 cm) should not be exceeded under any circumstances. Pushpins will be provided on site to mount posters on the boards. The content of the poster should be clearly legible from a distance of 1 meter.

 

 

Mounting and Removing Posters

All poster presenters are requested to mount and remove their poster as follows:

  • Presentations on Monday, Nov. 15
    Mount:

    14:00-17:00, Sunday, Nov. 14
     8:30-12:00, Monday, Nov. 15
    Remove:
    14:00-17:00, Monday, Nov. 15
  • Presentations on Tuesday, Nov. 16
    Mount:
     8:30-12:00, Tuesday, Nov. 16
    Remove:
    14:00-15:00, Tuesday, Nov. 16

Any posters remaining after 17:00, Monday, Nov. 15 (for presentations on Nov. 15) and 15:00, Tuesday, Nov. 16 (for presentations on Nov. 16) will be removed and disposed of by the Secretariat.

 

Discussion Time

All posters are assigned a discussion time on both the days as follows

  • Odd Number: 12:00-13:00
  • Even Number: 13:00-14:00

During the discussion time, presenters should stand by their posters for presentation and discussion.
