CerSJ-GOMD Joint Symposium on Glass Science and Technologies Finished
co-located with The 57th Meeting on Glass and Photonic Materials
& The 12th Symposium of Glass Industry Conferences of Japan
November 13-15, 2016 Kyoto University, Kyoto, JAPAN
We are pleased to announce the Joint International Symposium on Glass and Photonic Materials, which is the first joint meeting between the Ceramic Society of Japan (CerSJ) and the Glass and Optical Materials Division (GOMD) of the American Ceramic Society (ACerS).
The Symposium is scheduled for November 13-15, 2016 at Yoshida-main-campus of Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan.
The symposium is co-located with the 57th Meeting on Glass and Photonic Materials, which is the annual Glass Division Meeting of CerSJ, and the 12th Symposium of Glass Industry Conference of Japan (GIC12).
The Symposium collects papers on the following topics but not limited to,
Organizers, composed of active members of Glass Division of CerSJ and of GOMD of ACerS,wish to welcome submission of papers from international scientists and engineers on Glass and Photonic Materials worldwide.

The 55th Conference on Glasses and Photonic Materials will be held at Tokyo Institute of Technology (Japan) on 13-14 November 2014, organized by Glass Division of the Ceramic Society of Japan (CSJ). This has an international session with English as common language, and is opened for the scientists and researchers from not only Japan but also foreign countries. In addition, the 10th Symposium on Glass Industry is organized by the Glass Industry Conference of Japan (GIC). Many researchers and engineers join to share scientific knowledge on glasses and photonic materials.

Submission Those who wish to make a presentation in the conference must submit a completed submission form to the secretariat by e-mail, or send an e-mail in which the following matters are included. Registration Those who intend to participate in "The 55th Conference on Glasses and Photonic Matrials" and "The 10th GIC Symposium" are required to register for these symposiums. However, the presenting author is already registered by the submission of presentation.
Registration Fees Participants from overseas are asked to pay the registration fee on site. Domestic participants are asked to pay the registration fee by bank transfer for pre-registration. (Please refer to the Japanese page.)
