The Ceramic Society of Japan Kansai Branch was founded in 1992 by merging of the old Kyoto Branch and the old Osaka Branch. It consists of the members and assistance companies of 6 prefectures in Kansai Area. The present branch membership is about 680 persons.
This branch is aiming at development of the ceramic and related industrial technology and science in the Kansai area, and is performing various kinds of activities every year. Since it is the 30th anniversary year of establishment of this branch, special anniversary ceremony will be celebrated together with an ordinary general meeting.
