Editorial Board
The Editorial Committee of the JCS-JAPAN Journal is committed to publishing accepted papers as quickly as possible, and authors may choose Advance Online Publication.
For manuscripts submitted on or after April 2026, authors who select Advance Online Publication will be required to pay the associated fee (4,900 JPY, excluding tax).
1)Description
Accepted manuscripts may be published in PDF format and clearly indicated as Advance online publication. Once a manuscript has been proofread, it will replace the PDF file. It will be published in the appropriate issue after the author’s manuscript version has been sorted and paginated.

2)What is Advance online publication
Advance online publication is a process in which a manuscript is of the publication is published as soon as it is accepted.
In this case, the volume has not been determined, but the manuscript will be assigned the same DOI as that of the regular issue, and the page numbers will be updated as soon as the volume number is announced.
This means that both the proofread manuscript and author’s manuscript are handled as the same paper.
The Advance online publication DOI may be cited.
The authors manuscript PDF will be removed from the Advance online publication page when the regular version is published. However, a link to the past version will be provided on the regular version page.
3)Instructions for authors
If advance online publication is selected, the manuscript as accepted will be subject to advance online publication.
Please note that submissions with incomplete or incorrect required documents may not be accepted.
(1)A completed copyright transfer form must be submitted by the author at the time of paper submission.
(2)A graphic of the Table of Contents showing the most attractive features of the research in a pictorial form should be presented.( You may replace it after submission )
(3)Please use a template when submitting your manuscript.
If you are winner, use an award template.
(4)Please confirm the updated guidelines.

If you do not wish your paper to be published, please inform the editorial committee in writing.
If we receive such notice after typesetting, you will be liable to a typesetting charge of 5,000 yen per page.
If you wish to order printed offprints, please inform us when you return your author proofs.
Only one proofreading is acceptable. If you need more, you must pay an extra 7000yen by time.
